TRUNK(HOTEL)は、12月20日（月）〜26日（日）の7日間限定で、「TRUNK WINTER MARKET 2021」を開催します。昨年に続き、寒い季節に身も心もあたたまるコンテンツをお届けするウィンターマーケット。今年は、「OUTDOOR COMFORTS」をコンセプトに、ファイヤーピットやランタンで装飾された冬のアウトドア気分を満喫できる空間をパブリックテラスにご用意。肌寒い季節に恋しくなるフード＆ドリンクを始め、ワークショップなど、さまざまなアクティビティを展開し、ご家族やご友人と一緒に楽しめる期間限定のイベントです。
フードメニューには、トーストした熱々のパンを器に、じっくりと煮込んだ若鶏や茸といった具材の旨味が溶け込むシチューを注いだ「鶏肉と茸のパンシチュー」や、3週間かけて調味料に漬け込み下味をつけた自家製ロースハムをクレープ生地に包む「チェダーチーズクレープ 自家製ロースハム」。オーガニックチョコレートとキビ糖を使用した「フォンダンショコラ」は、あたたかいチョコレートが溶け出し、カカオの香りが口いっぱいに広がります。また、ホリデーシーズンの定番ドリンクとして親しまれているブレンドウィスキーが香る「自家製エッグノック」、バニラやナツメグといった香辛料を中心に、ほのかな甘みとオレンジやベリーなどの華やかな味わいを堪能できる「自家製ホットワイン」、カカオの風味と濃厚な甘さを楽しめる「オーガニックホットチョコレート」など、身体をあたためるドリンクも多数ご用意しています。
今年のウィンターマーケットのメニューは、フードロス削減も意識し、規格外でなかなか普段は、お客さまに提供し難いホテル内の食材を余すことなく活用し、アウトドアで美味しく味わえるように工夫しています。
その他、パブリックテラスに設けられたテントブースなどで、4つのワークショップをお楽しみいただけます。「Kids Gabbeh Painting」は、自由に描いたイラストから、イラン南西部の遊牧民によって織られる伝統的な小織物「ギャッベ」をデザインできるワークショップ。その場で描いていただいたイラストを遊牧民の職人たちがハンドメイドで織り上げ、後日ご家族との思い出の詰まった唯一無二のギャッベがご自宅に届きます。「Socializing Flower Swag」は、そのままだと捨てられてしまう生花をアップサイクルしたドライフラワーを自分好みにチョイスし、スワッグ制作を体験できるワークショップです。今回はさらに、メインダイニングTRUNK(KITCHEN)で使用していたトーションに、シルクスクリーンを施し、フラワーを包んでスワッグを完成させます。「Outdoor Candle」は、独特な肌触りをもつ床革を使用し、お客さまご自身で刻印から縫製まで行い、オリジナルのレザーキャンドルホルダーを制作するワークショップ。アウトドアシーンにはもちろん、空気浄化作用のあるソイワックスを使用したキャンドルを備えており、ご自宅のインテリアとしてもお楽しみいただけます。
さらに、ファイヤーピットの直火でコーヒー焙煎を楽しめる「Campfire Roast Coffee」では、都会に居ながら気軽に、冬のアウトドア体験を味わっていただけます。焙煎したコーヒー豆は、煎りたてをその場で楽しんでいただくことはもちろん、お土産としてお持ち帰りいただくことも可能です。
テントブース内では、その他、TRUNK(HOTEL)のメンバーがセレクトしたホテル内で不要となった装飾品や家具を始め、古着や雑貨を販売する「TRUNK VINTAGE STORE」を開催。また、手のひらサイズのヴィンテージ雑貨を扱う「物百」がイベント期間中限定で特別出店、インテリア小物や花器などを販売します。

TRUNK(HOTEL) will hold "TRUNK WINTER MARKET 2021" for 7 days from December 20th (Monday) to 26th (Sunday). Continuing from last year, the winter market will deliver content that warms the body and soul this cold winter. This year’s concept is "OUTDOOR COMFORTS", which will feature a fire pit and lanterns decorating the public terrace so guests can enjoy the chilly outdoors in a warm environment. There will also be various workshops as well as seasonal food & drink for sale. This is a limited-time event for anyone to enjoy with family and friends.
The food menu includes everything from meals to desserts. There will be two kinds of stew available, a slow simmered chicken stew and a wagyu beed stew, each poured over hot toasted bread, as well as a 3-week marinated ham that is sliced and wrapped in a homemade cheddar cheese crepe. For dessert, there will be a "Fondant Chocolat", which uses organic chocolate and millet sugar instead of white sugar, where the melted warm chocolate and the scent of cacao fills your tastebuds. Additionally, a traditional "Homemade Egg Nog" with a kick of blended whiskey will be available as well as a "Homemade Hot Wine" flavored with a hint oranges and strawberries, backed by spices such as cloves and cinnamon. We also have a large number of warm drinks like our spiced "organic hot chocolate".
The menu for this year's winter market is very conscious of reducing food waste, therefore we have taken measures to prepare these items with this in mind.
In addition, during this event, you can enjoy four workshops at the tent booth on the public terrace. "Kids Gabbeh Painting" is a workshop where children can design a traditional small textile called a "Gabbeh" which are then woven by nomads in southwestern Iran from the illustrations freely drawn by your child. Nomadic craftsmen will hand-weave each illustration, and at a later date, a unique Gabbeh filled with memories with your child will be delivered to your home. "Socializing Flower Swag" is a workshop where you can experience swag production by choosing upcycled dried flowers. This time, we will also apply a silk screen print to an upcycled cloth from the TRUNK(KITCHEN) to wrap the flowers with to complete the swag. "Outdoor Candle" is a workshop to produce original leather candle holders using a uniquely textured leather. Of course, it comes with candles made of soy wax that has an air purifying effect, perfect to use as an interior decoration.
Finally, there is the "Campfire Roast Coffee," where you can enjoy roasting coffee directly over the fire pit, giving a winter outdoor experience while still in the city. You can also take the roasted coffee beans home as a souvenir.
Additionally at the tent booth, we have a collection of accessories and furniture that were no longer needed in the hotel, as well as clothing and small items collected from TRUNK(HOTEL) staff to be sold at the "TRUNK VINTAGE STORE". Also, "Mono Hundred", which sells palm-sized vintage miscellaneous goods, will open a special store for a limited time during the event, selling interior miscellaneous goods and vases.
