ニコラ咲菜恵 / SANAE NICOLAS
Born in 1992 in France, Sanae grew up between France and Japan, where she got strongly inspired by the contrasts of the rooms she stayed in. After graduating from architecture, she worked several years in collaboration with Hermès in Paris, and was the artist in collaboration for the Summer 2019 window displays of the Faubourg Saint Honoré parent company shop. Acidulous cities like Tokyo are a never ending inspirational playground for Sanae : architecture, volumes, shapes, and colors has opened new body of artistic creativity. For this special exhibition in ROOM 101 of TRUNK (HOTEL), drawings of «Rooms» are displayed next to a large mural drawing, realized exclusively for this ephemeral event.
MAISON N +
Based in Paris, Maison N+ is a French-Japanese architect duo, specializing in the arts and urban design. Sanae NICOLAS and Alexandre NESI share the idea of experimenting new ways of creating architecture, based on cultural diversity. Driven by the desire to challenge traditional scales and invent a multidisciplinary architecture, they aim to revitalize the architectural experience for each project.
DJ : 大村 達郎 / Tatsuro OMURA
Born in 1989, Tatsuro grew up surrounded by records and CDs thanks to his father who worked for a record company. He first worked on a turntable in 2010, and since 2015, has been a regular DJ at BRIDGE BAR in Shibuya. Tatsuro played there more than 200 times and also has played at the Royal Warrant Society sponsored by the stylist Keisuke Baba. He plays music in clubs, live houses, cafes, bars and outdoor events with no genre boundaries; a Japanese and international centered on SOUL / FUNK / JAZZ / DISCO.
