Los Angeles based art & design studio Vacancy Projects will be bringing their unique goods & original works to TRUNK(HOTEL) for a special pop-up shop & exhibition.  The collective will present all new artworks & goods that make up the many projects by them, as well as releasing all new apparel, limited edition books & more available exclusively at TRUNK(HOTEL)'s Room101 gallery space during the reception on the 11th.  Founded in 2013 by artist/designer duo Mary Vu and Kristofferson San Pablo, the duo started as a way to express their interest in graphics, print, apparel & other specialty products. The end results are reflective of their upbringing in the southern California arts, music & counter-culture scene while mining topics such as art history, sexuality & humor through their specific lens. Vacancy Projects also serves as a platform for collaborations, pop-up shops, & other special projects within their artistic community.  The works will be on view from July 8 - July 11th.  Please come join us on the 11th for the Pop-up shop & closing reception from 12:00 - 19:00 with by music from Dublab.jp at 19:30 & meet the LA based collective during their brief stay in Tokyo.
